I played at Emirates Hills Golf Club on Nov 2010. It was my first experience of golf in Dubai.
It has been amazing for me.
Played both course, Faldo course (originally opened in 1996 as the Wadi 'valley' course ) and the incredible Majlis. Faldo is a long challenging course, where you can even play night golf as the only fully floodlit 18-hole course in the UAE.
The Majlis was the first all grass course in the Dubai opened in 1988. At that time the course was just a green stretch in the middle of the desert miles away from downtown Dubai. Today it looks like playing few miles from Manhattan. And just a few steps from Dubai Marina, the new seaside Dubai tourist and residential neighborhood.

This course is magic. Every hole has is memorable, especially the finale hole 18th, a left dog-leg par 5 with a water hazard just before the eight shaped green (same of the 9th).
The course is the venue of the Dubai Desert Classic European Tour Tournament.
A must play for every visitor in Dubai.
