Dai-Takarazuka Golf Club, Osaka, Japan

Located just 40 minutes by train from Osaka Station, and 10 by shuttle bus from Takarazuka Stn, Dai-Takarazuka is an incredible facility.
First thing I noticed arriving here was the impressive clubhouse, that from the inside look more like an international hotel hall then a golf clubhouse. Then the caddie master area..dozens of remote controlled golf carts ready to go to guide golfers around the 36 holes golf course.
The driving range, not as big as you would imagine, features a treadmill located at the base of it to help golfers and their bags to get back to the clubhouse.
Playing one of the two championship courses here is an amazing experience. This 36 hole course built in 1977 is owned by Pacific Golf Management company, which owns and operates more then 115 courses in Japan. The two courses, Ashiya - Rokko and  Takarazuka - Nishinomiya are built on an extremely hilly area, hard to imagine a golf course could have been built there.
I played here with my teaching Pro Fabio Forlano on the second day of our Kansai golf itinenary. We played on the Ashiya - Rokko course, a tricky challenging course with dramatic elevation changes and spectacular holes. Not long but interesting with several elevation changes, a couple of blind tee shots and incredible vistas on the valley bellow.
