About Skygolf

My photo
skygolfblog@gmail.com
Hi, my name is Alex, I'm a photographer and writer, and an avid traveller. I love to explore golf courses around the world, from the top ranked to the less celebrated, from high-end country clubs to local munis, each with its own stories, and peculiarities to be described and all with the same thing in common: 18 holes to play the greatest game on earth. Skygolfblog.com is a celebration of the game, a collection of the best photos I took from the courses I played and a selection of suggested itineraries, browsing around golf courses with the eye of an everyday golfer. From Rome, Italy, where I'm from , to Tuscany, Sicily and Scotland, from Japan to the Usa, from Canada to Brazil…unforgettable moments shared with my golf buddies, with just met golfers, or with my teaching Pro Fabio Forlano which first introduced me to the game and joined me on several trips around the world. A long trip across five continents made of memorable meetings, like the one I had with Robert Trent Jones Jr. while I was visiting Erin Hills, WI, and made of beyond words feelings, like those I had walking the historic fairways of the Old Course.
