Eagle Glen Golf Club, Corona, California, Usa

Eagle Glen has been an unexpected surprise for me. A great public golf course with a challenging and picturesque design where a round of golf become an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.
Located in the city of Corona, it opened in 1999 and it shortly became one of the best golf courses of the Inland Empire.
The course, designed by architect Gary Roger Baird of Global Golf Design (Barona Creek among his projects), plays more then 6900 yds from the tips bringing risk/rewards shots into play, with dramatic elevation changes, ravines, strategically placed bunkers and challenging greens.
Challenging layout but a lot of fun!!
The management is working really hard and doing great things to keep Eagle Glen at its best. Recently some of the bunkers have been renovated and several tee complex are going to be completely redone.
In just a few weeks this course will be in pristine conditions.

The first think you may notice arriving at the course is the cosy and elegant clubhouse.
It overlooks the par 5 18th, which I consider one of the best 18th finishing holes I ever played.
Every hole at Eagle Glen has its own feature such as the long 650 yds par 5 12th or the 166 yds Par 3 17th (the signature hole) where the green is well below the tee boxes.
But the 18th it is my favorite, with a lake the runs on the right side of fairway on the tee shot and  second lake to the left on the approach.

An outstanding golf course that will see me coming back for sure.
Enjoy some of the pictures I took playing Eagle Glen on Aug 10th.
