Castelgandolfo Golf Resort, Rome, Italy

Castelgandolfo Golf Course is located near the small town of Castelgandolfo, best known for the summer residence of the Pope and voted one of the most beautiful small villages in Italy, just 20 minutes from Rome.
The course (which opened in 1985) has been majestically designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. which transformed an inactive volcano in a magnificent 18 holes Par 72 challenging course. The fabulous 17th century clubhouse overlooks the entire course, and it is considered to be one of the most beautiful clubhouses of Italy.
Another must play for whoever wants to plan a trip to Italy.
